Jim Peyton's Message About Our New Store & Special Products

In response to requests from friends and students, I have found myself continually bringing these items back from Mexico. Naturally, that caused me to explore the idea of offering them to visitors to Lo Mexicano.

However, I realized that the interest in these items came only after people had learned about them in a class or tried them at some function, that even if they were available in every supermarket very few people would know how to use them. I decided that if I was going to offer things that were not widely understood, I would need to include complete instructions on their uses, including recipes. To make certain that I could do both the products and my customers justice, I also decided to offer only a careful selection of truly outstanding items, and to introduce them a few at a time.

In our Tienda (store)—at this point it should probably be called tiendita, or little store—you will find items that I am convinced will provide benefits well beyond their cost, and to make sure that customers realize their full potential, each one will be accompanied by full instructions and recipes. I will also be available by email to provide on-going guidance or to answer any questions.

In addition, we also have a policy of either full satisfaction or full refund. And don’t forget, these items could be the perfect gifts for friends who are interested in food and cooking. We provide the hard-to-find ingredients, a full complement of recipes, and hints on how to use them creatively, so that people can invent their own special dishes!
